I help companies, asset managers, and organizations
develop capital strategies and theories of change which address systemic problems.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
I helped launch First Principles — a convening and community that exists to support and challenge technology company founders and early employees who want to use their wealth for good. Now co-hosted by The Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society and Bloomberg Beta.
I am conducting a project on Rethinking the Corporation — recommending the regulatory and legislative infrastructure fixes necessary for stakeholder capitalism. I will be producing a policy paper on alternative corporate ownership and governance structures for the American Economic Liberties Project.
I authored series of essays to describe SheEO's organizational Values and Practices that are both embodied and aspirational. Each mini essay contains a list of references which compiles leading thinkers and doers in each of the following ten categories: radical generosity, transformation of self and systems, in right relationship, capital in flow, power with vs. power over, equity, co-creation, financial capital on your own terms, emergence, and abundance/sufficiency.
